The Italian word for whims, and while it can be used to describe a sudden desire for most anything, it’s most colloquially used to describe that of the edible variety. A little pleasure or something you fancy that sparks joy just because! What we do — and make — is a passion project, a labor of love. It’s in that spirit that Sfizi was born.

Sfizi is a husband and wife-owned food company curating the finest, most delicious products from trusted Italian purveyors. What makes these particular taralli the very best we’ve tasted is that brothers Francesco and Vito take the extra step of boiling their taralli before baking. It’s the traditional way to do things but a step many tarallifici (taralli producers) skip because of the extra labor involved. The results are ultra crispy, crumbly, and flaky, while also being lighter and less dense.
